I've always loved the Bing Crosby version of this song, but felt like the animals got a bad rap! So I wrote a version that honors the animals and also pays tribute to the astrological zodiac. A Ram is an animal with curly q horns He tends to be awfully headstrong His vital essence loves to start But to reach that finish line is a whole nother art! A Bull can be happy with a sweet pleasant task And a roll in the soft and green grass He may be fixed on what he enjoys But he'll work hard without making a noise. Sure routine comfort can be dull. But you won’t mind if you’re a Bull! Then be sure to stop and see the Twins. Those mutable minds can't help but see from all sides. Or go on an imaginative ride. Sharp as a tack with a wit to match If they haven’t moved on already well they’re 10 steps ahead So you can try to keep up if you can Or allow a Twin to offer you their hand!
